The Mercado de Ideas event has been designed to provide Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs with the opportunity to receive funding for business ventures. Participants will utilize professional skills to make a pitch, promote their product and secure funders. Each investor will make their own judgement on which project to invest in and make a selection based on each participant’s business plan, pitch and overall business concept.
1. Must be Hispanic-owned business
2. Accept agreed upon terms and conditions
3. Submit a business plan
4. Have 5 minutes pitch prepared
5. Submit complete application.
February 23: Applications Due.
March 2: Business Plan Due.
March 2 – May 1: Investors will review applications and schedule follow up interviews.
May 4: Mercado de Ideas / Market of Ideas event
February 15: Informational Session for Mercado de Ideas
